Exclamation larger cranke sprocket

I know its been brought up alot but I just ran into the problem I put all new gears and timing chain on and it seems loose to me. I've read all of the posts I could find and I'm still confused? Some say that the larger crank sprocket puts more stress on the cam bearings, and that gm designed the chain to be loose with the smaller sprocket for that reason. Anyone have hard proof of this or does anyone agree that the larger sprocket is better, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I really want to throw the timing chain cover on,and the front of the motor back together. I just sent my intake out to L. E. to have it ported so I have some time to spare deciding what to do here. thanks,
