Large cams and ignition timing?

Large cams ... ie 224/236 lsa of 114 to be more specific

The question is, do larger cams such as this one "like" a little more ignition timing in the part throttle ranges??

I'm actually in the quest of a little more vacuum and figure that if these larger cams can tolerate or even thrive on more ignition timing than their stock counter parts .... I may be able to get enough vacuum to work my brakes like they were meant to be ...

Any thoughts appreciated
