I was going through jegs and I saw them in the suspension section. And it says they will work on 4th gens. I was wondering if anyone was runing these, and if they helped? I was thinking about giving them a try. Here is the link http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...42&prmenbr=361 scroll down to the lift bar catagory.

Thanks

Yea, their bad news. Single worse thing I ever did in the quest for traction. Took the adj. rods and brackets off and just use the control arms now.

Basically, they don't work with a torque arm style suspension. They put the suspension in "bind"..... typically forcing something to break. I'd say in 9 out of 10 posts that I have seen on the Lakewood bars, its the Lakewoods that ripped apart.

There are 4th Gens running in the 8's with "stock-style" suspensions.... you don't need anything like the Lakewoods.
