ok I OWN A 96 tRANS AM. aND i AM TRING TO INSTALL THE ADJUSTABLE KYB'S. bUT HOW IN THE H*LL DO YOU TAKE THE STOCK SHOCK OFF? I UNBOLTED IT FROM THE BOTTOM BUT HOW DO YOU TAKE PART THAT IS ATTACTHED IN THE FENDER WELL? tHE TOP PART? ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE

If you remove the hatch covers and peel the carpet back you should see 2 rubber covers on each side labled L &R...remove the coveres and pull the foam out. You'll see the top of the shocks...get and air gun and remove the nut holding it in...almost impossible to do by hand unless you have a friend to hold the load road with a set of vice grips...
