Kooks+LT4 Starter=Good Thing

I know this has been covered, but I just installed an LT4 starter and it fits great with the Kooks stepped LTs. Thanks to whomever suggested it ...Hopefully, it won't break like the other LT1s I've gone thru...

Right around $1000 for stainless stepped w/ emissions fittings and an off road y-pipe...

Re: Kooks+LT4 Starter=Good Thing

The LT4 Starter solved my starting issues. The LT's I have were messing with the seloniod and I'd have to tap it with my Mag Lite before each start. Its so nice to have it on the block side of the starter. Plus I read on pimpmyhonda.com LT4 starters are "totally worth like 15 at the wheels yo"

Good Mod.

So is that thing making it to the track with the new mods soon?

Re: Kooks+LT4 Starter=Good Thing

I have a similar set up 11.2:1 and have broken 3 LT1 starters in a year. Some have great luck with them. I'll have to see if the LT4 works long term....

..and Dustin, I'm going to a track rental on May 26th...we'll see what we get then...Was trying to go tonite to a TnT, but the weather is iffy and I'm exhausted from work this week...
