Re: Kook Header Pics Installed!

Basically, the car was/is on rhino ramps in the rear right now, and just on jack stands in the front. Yes they are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 stainless steel. I also purchased the y-pipe, with high flow magnaflow cats already welded in. It is all a slip fit type. Overall very nice. I could take some pics of the y-pipe if people would like to see..

Wow , the clearence looks phenomenal . My old hookers 6 and 8 was a nightmare , and with the the Grotoyohahns on the car now it takes about 45 minutes to dothe passenger side .

These are definately gonnabe on my car . Finally a quality 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped header for the LT1's .

Yeah, price please and you know how much for coated ones? Stainless is the way to go for sure.

However, the FLP's are very nice headers, they did sacrifice some plug change ability on the flp's but its not bad at all if you have the SLP spark plug socket, very very easy with that thing to do all the plugs. And the FLP headers are gems when it comes to clearance and quality, I have a 2" drop with my FLP's and I don't bottom out on the headers because they are tucked away so nicely.

I paid 895 for the headers, and 450 for the y-pipe with two magnaflow high flow cats in the y-pipe. Overall the best system hands down, no comparison.

That's how my TPiS long tubes are. They hug the bottom of the car nicely and have great clearance!
