AFPR, ignition system, and LCAs.

You could "bolt on" a supercharger or n2o kit. either of those would do the trick

AFPR, Perhaps adjust shift points slightly w/a HPP & rev limit, lower control arms, airbag right rear, panhard bar and remove your front sway bar. Anything else anyone can think of? Good luck, btw, been in your shoes (hell, I still am sort of).

Electric Water Pump......or take off the belt to the alternator, then run it.....

Re: knocking on 12's with bolt on's, but what else do i need???

whenever i hit the track i go on prostars(skinnies) and 16" et streets. i pull all the seats and i dont have a swaybar at all. i have a PCM4less tune but it might need a little work so i need to send it back to Alvin. i have dynoed my car and my shift points are right on so i stay in my power band but what concerns me is that i still trap rather low. i am thinking of doing suspension but im sort of debating of still going 12's on stock suspension.

i have thought of getting a TNT kit and spray a 100 shot, but my car has 147k and i dont know if it will hold. also been reading on a SC but i dont want to rebuild soon cuz this is my daily driver 40+milles/day. but if i can find another car i will either go H/C+ spray or get and ATI charger just to be different.

keep everything coming guys............need some suggestions cuz there is an LT1/LS1 shootout at the local track soon.

Suspension, specifically a torque arm and LCA's will do the trick.

Re: knocking on 12's with bolt on's, but what else do i need???

I am having the same problem. I am running consistant 13.08s I ran 4-5 times at our local track, I ran 13.084,13.083,13.086 and 13.087. These were all on 1.7 60ft times with 17s upfront and out back.

Mods:
Moser 12-bolt w/ 3.73s ( i think this is probably slowing me down some )
vig 2800 (built CPT Race prep'd 4l60e)
Jet hot LTs w/ ORY and magnaflow cat-back
Spohn 25 mm rear sway bar
M/T DRs

I have 1.6 RRs/lt4 springs ready to go on along with a battery relocation kit.

The only weight reduction I have done is my backseats and spare/jack. I am thinking about removing the carpet completely, removing A/C and maybe even my bumper supports.

The only other bolt-ons I can think of are K member w/ lower a-arms, torque arm, relocaiton brackets and shocks.

Just go on a night when the weather is better and you will probably hit it.

AFPR is pointless.

Not really....he has a 93 (speed density) and the PCM won't compensate differences in the fuel pressure like on the 94+. He said pcmforless did his tune so I would think Alvin would have corrected the 'over richness' these cars have from the factory. I have heard him say he has picked up 10-15hp just by changing the fp before. Plus he has 22# injectors...which really should not be an issue. I would consider roller rockers a bolt on. Even if you didn't want to go with 1.6's and change springs....you would net some gain on 1.5's. 100 pounds = 1/10 second, have someone lighter than you race it..

You are .03 seconds off....all you need to do is run it on a 10-15 degree cooler night than you did before and you've got it.....now if you want to be there consistantly cam it....I like the LT4 hotcam kit as far and price and all goes

Re: knocking on 12's with bolt on's, but what else do i need???

the times in sig were from a few months back before i even did the gears and tune. my exact times from the gears and tune are 13.05@101.5. but the only difference is that the 13.03@102 was in 50* weather and the 13.05@101 was in 70*/85% humidity. so i guess that could do it. i am getting some BMR subframes and relocation brackets in the next few days. i want to get a torqe arm but i would have to drop my duals because it sits right under the TA and i might as well get a DS loop while i am at it. i guess ill leave the spray till after i get the suspension.

where can i find good prices on BMR subframes, LCA's, and relocation brackets? the LT1/LS1 shootout is on April 29th and i plan on being the fastest bolt-on LT1 in the area so far i have only heard of LT1's going 12's with H/C, but i am almost there. thanks guys for the sugestions there still might be some more things someone hasnt mentioned, so keep em coming.

...and to add to that...my adj torque arm made a world of difference with hooking and I love it. The lca's feel really nice too but I recommend folks to replace the factory shocks with some good after market stiffer shocks or else the body will fall on it's face, especially if you have sfc's.
