Knock sensor thread sealant

I did a search and found the torque spec for the knock sensor, but I can't find what to seal the threads with. I'm leaning towards Permatex liquid teflon sealer but would like to know for sure. Bill

Re: Knock sensor thread sealant

I've used teflon tape before without issue. I'd say the permatex liquid teflon would be perfectly fine as well.

Thanks for the replies. I'll go with the Permatex since I have it. Bill
