Knock sensor delete?

Can the knock sensor be deleted if you have the LT4 knock module?

Re: Knock sensor delete?

The knock module has no bearing on deletion.

Re: Knock sensor delete?

Didn't think so, thanks. The reason for asking is that I just so happened to forget to install it and a plug made it's way in it's place. Any tricks to getting it in? Thanks again!

If you're quick, you can switch the plug with the knock module with minimal coolant loss; you'll still need to top off the coolant system and burp it. The module has a very low torque value (something like 15 ft-lbs) so don't over tighten it.
