mrmint69 - I paid $1180 total for the delteq system, plugs, wires, and labor

Kaj - yes it does say you need to correct your opti problem 1st but its already been replaced at the dealer but didnt solve the misfire.

JP95ZM6 - I think you might be right about the arching being static discharge, because ive already done the opti, plugs, and wires and the car ran great for a while even though there was arching present and the arching persisted in the same exact spot even after replacing everything.

Will post results if I ever get my car back. They have had it since wedensday and all day yeserday i kept calling and he kept promising it would be done yesterday even if he had to stay late. He didnt stay late and never een called me to let me know and now hes closed today so now I have no way to get to work tomorrow. I am very unpleased.

 

That is exactly the reason i do all my own work. Besides im to cheap to pay someone. I had an engine replaced years ago and they did almost nothing but the miminum. They didn't even flush the coolant. Had problems and ended up going somewhere else since they were the idiots that did it wrong the first time. Charged me for stuff i found out later was never done.
