Knock module torque affect engine performance?
Had an engine builder say that the torque spec for the KM install had to be nuts on spec or it would hurt performance by giving the false readings.
Myth: plausible or busted ?

mech. must be talking about the knock sensor i always instal them with teflon tape to help make them "not so sensitive" as far as being TQ to exact spec no dice!
