I have a 93 TA, so it is not possible for me to put in an LT4 knock module. I THINK alvin from pcmforless can desensitize the knock sensing some, to have a similar effect... and I may be getting a tune from him this summer.

Anyway, I have no cat, and behind where the cat was I have just a single Bullet and dumps behind the axle. My car can be really loud compared to stock, and sometimes I think maybe it is giving me false knock and making me lose power in high rpm ranges.

1. How much power COULD I be losing from false knock?
2. Is it safe to desensitize it some?
3. How do I know how much knock I am getting?

I don't really understand too much about knock and false knock, "degrees", etc... anyone have a minute to explain to me?

you're probably not getting any false knock from your exhaust. Basically what happens is the computer sees the car is getting knock and backs off timing until it goes away.
