KnN high performance air filter

I have the aftermarket K&N air filter system in my 1995 Z28 but am missing the actual air filter that attaches to the end that goes into the hole that goes down near the road. I tried to order only the filter and they sent me some dry charger air filter wrap that looks like a sock. For $54! I need the actual filter part but not the whole system.

I need the air filter. Not this. How can I order the one part by itself and which one will fit?

Can't help with the part #, but I will move this from the “2010-2015 5th Gen” forum to a more appropriate 4th Gen forum to improve your chances of getting help .

Try Amazon and go by dimensions.

I've run Spectre in place of the K&N. It was exactly the same.

Looked up the 1995 Z28 cold air intake kit on K&N's site. They have a section on specifications and list RF-1015 as the replacement filter. Looks like you ordered the wrap by mistake or the vendor sent you the wrong part.

Here is the K&N CAI system for a 1995 Z28...

AEM might be an option for a replacement filter. I think they are "dri-flow" and don't require oil. Amsoil may also make a filter that would work.

Probably doesn’t matter. “Jeneene” hasn’t signed into the site since the day of the first post. Might have read the first two responses, at most.
