what up man sounds real good
i just went through the same thing with my new Z
got it all put together only to find the trans was ****
i put up a thread here and found a tranny fairly close
for a good price
went and got it the next day and had it swapped out in 4 hours the next day
but good luck getting here driving again
the 847 is prolly my fav cam i put a 306 in this car just to check it out def a lil milder power band but it doesnt get as crazy at 3 grand

What are the specs on that cam ?? and comp's CC306 is the closest thing to it ? What about wilder ? dare i say ?

GM847 - 234/242 .575/.595 112 LSA
CC306 - 230/244 .544/.576 112 LSA

They are similar but not the same. Generally the GM847 is said to be more wild and craving higher RPM's but neither is considered tame. The GM 847 usually makes a few extra horses, but most of the time must be rev'ed higher to get there.

Thats the truth, Mine peaks @ 6600 Rpms Shift light is set @ 6800

I love it! Now only if i could find a set of heads to get me over the 400rwhp & 400Rwtq mark i would be all set.

haha, thats kind of funny, were runing nearly identical times, cc306 verses gm 847, although weather i'm sure was not the same

Almost simular mods as well, Goes to show everyone how close these cams are to each other.
