The other day my keyless entry stopped working. This happens about once a year so no big deal, except usually when it happens the power locks constantly freak out, and unlock/lock on their own constantly. This time they did it once or twice. The remedy for me has been disconnecting the battery for like five or six hours. I did this the other day and my problem was solved.

I went out to my car today (a few days after I did the battery disconnect thing) and it was unlocked. It also stopped responding to the keyless entry remote. I'm going to disconnect my battery tomorrow at work and see what happens when I come out. Anyone else have an issue like this?

 

yep my keyless entry stopped working too... it would work sometimes and then not sometimes...now it wont work at all...

 

Did you try my trick where you disconnect the battery for a night?

 

not purposely, BUT... I did have the battery disconnected for a day or so last week while working on the car and it still does not work...
