Key to check codes on 94?
I went to AutoZone today to have my pcm scanned for an SES, and he said since my car is obd1 i have to use this metal key they gave me, but i thought you could only use that method on 93's? I just to pull this code(s)...

The AZ guy is wrong. You must use a scanner. You are correct that the last year you could do that on an f-body was 1993.
