took my cia outa the car over the winter to clean it, but i had to take it out from the bottom(filter). reason cause when the owner before me that installed it stripped the bolt that holds down the lil heat shield, which leads to my question.
how the hell do you get it out if its stripped. cant really put it back together from the bottom cause i cant retighten the filter down. what do i do?!?!?

 

remove the black panel from underneath the filter (its a black plastic piece)
its held by like 8 screws. I remove the filter cone from the bottom all the time and tighten it from there also...Hope this answers ur questions...
