i was wondering if someone could shed a little light on this subject for me: i am planning on purchasing a K&N FIPK kit in the next few weeks. however, on the k&n web site it says this kit is meant for camaros without ram air and traction control. local speed shops have confirmed this with me. the problem is, i do have traction control on my car

I'm wondering if i can still install this kit on my car? i have found mods to disable traction control so that it is initially off when the car is started. will this work or is it a matter of where the unit itself is situated? any help is appreciated.

 

I have traction control and this CAI (cold air intake). No problems here, get it! The traction control box isn't even near the filter unit??? I don't know what they are talking about!
