K&N FIPKII Fitment help

well my girlfriend just bought me the K&N FIPKII CAI she's a keeper lol

i was wondering...when i slide it in it seems to be a tight fit...i dont know what the hell is rubbing up against it (ABS/ASR module? brake lines?) but they're steel lines...

anybody know of this problem? and how to get around it?

thanks in advance!

It is a very tight fit but it will go. Mine touches the ABS unit and is pretty tight but it does fit. Just gotta get everything tweaked just so.

What the guy above said. Mine fits pretty tight, but it does fit. It's so tight that red paint from the hood has even rubbed off onto the FIPK tube. I haven't looked at it in a while, but I believe it also sits against the abs tubes/hoses.
