I used the MSD, the only lasted for a few months. I used short Autolite 104 plugs, and #5 just got toasted big time, there is extremely poor clearance at that plug. I also had problems with I think #6, after a few months I checked and one of the MSD boots was burned completely through. After that I got some Taylors and 1500º boots, the SLP 500º boot was likewise eaten completely through, and this was with coated headers.

well i have single cat shorties that ate up some taylors real bad and i used made-for-you looms to route them. next i got some MSDs that ive had on for quite some time now without incident. i routed them very very carefully as i didnt want another $100 to go down the drain.

Dr. Mudge, my friend bought your old shorties and we actually routed some taylors in the stock location...this has worked flawlessly for 6 months or more now. i really dont understand how it could either.
