just put the opti on have questions

just put the opti on have questions

ok i just putt he opti on, and i made am ark with a mrker so i know it was lined up, well when i slide it on there is like maybe a tiny space between the brackets and the block is this normal, i took it off several times and every time it is like this, i dont want to ruin this opti please help

What year car? There should be no gap between the Opti and where the bolts go in. Don't pull it on with the bolts either because you can ruin it that way. If you have a vented Opti then maybe the dowel is to long

i have a 96, and why would the dowl pin be longer, this was just a opti change everything else is stock

are you sure the pin is lined up? just cause the orientaion of the opti is the same doesn;t mean the slot for the pin is..

also if i tuen it just alittle it wont go on, but if i turn it back you can here it pop into place

i can see where the pin is, and i have the back of the opti lines up, and i put a black mark on top of the opti so i could tell if it spun some, it is top center maybe i need to push it alittle harder
