I have many questions for you...
1. Do you have the 155mph speedometer?
2. If the answer was "no", then your car is limited to, I think 108mph.
3. If you have the 155mph speedo, did it come that way or did you put one in? If you just installed the 155mph speedo, that doesn't change the speed limiter; you need computer programming to change this.
4. I hope you were kidding or something, but how in the world do you confuse 4th and 5th gears?!?!

could you be mistaking a bigger problem like fuel starvation, bad coil, hi rpm miss for the rev limiter?

that was my first thought...

i like 4th gear...got to about 120!!

sounds like you have some issues to work out with your car before you start modding it!

and if i 'm not mistaken it's:

"i need NOS...I NEED NOS!...the big bottles...no better make it two...and i need it by tonite!"

your going to love the difference, I had a 97TA with the K&N CAI and on my 97Z28 I put the Moroso CAI on it, I like it better than the K&N but they perform I'm sure identically. Your car will really wake up if you have a catback especially.

Haha, this is still going, weird Alrighty, I must have been in 4th gear some how, and thought I was in 5th, I don't know how, but some how, I thought that. Anyways, the car it acting much better now. The rev limiter in 1-3rd gear is like 5700 or so, I never take it much past 5200. Thanks for your help though guys. And for the person that was hinting that I might have a v6 (108 MPH limit), thanks for being nice I am a noob to F-bodys, but not a noob to cars. Talk to ya guys later. Noah

There are V8 cars limited to 118 MPH. They came with the 110 Speedo, so whoever asked you that, did have a point.
