i dont use a full cat-back system, as i dont have the money yet.
but IMO if u have the money why not??
if not, then try to buy that is worth it the while..

see my sig, thats what i used for now..

It sounds like your not really into the performance thing yet. If you plan on staying stock and just want a nicer sound, a muffler will be fine. A catback is only slightly larger then the stock pipeing and isnt' all that much of a gain by itself. If you think more mods are in your future then go with a catback.
as far as i know the stock system isnt mandrel bent as most cat backs are, youll see a gain form going with a full cat back rather then just the muffler from the mandrel bends and freer flowing exhaust. just depends on what you want, but cat backs are well worth the money.
um thats what i was kinda debating if rather the extra 100 to 200 bucks is wroth putting into it or should i just get mufflers and and use the rest of the money on something else
If so i am going to go with Hooker Cat-Back Exhaust System from Jegs.

Just get the Hooker it's worth it, trust me.
You'll like the sound and the performance. You can always get the other parts later, but a good exhaust system is a good base. Don't rush things by doing it the cheap way. When you replace parts whether it is for performance or just maintance you should always upgrade to better and stronger so you're not disapointed.

Check this out. I was in the same situation as you a while back and I decided to go with this setup. Here is my exhaust story:
Purchased Brand new Magnaflow FULLY STAINLESS cat back system for $270.00 from ebay (and there was more then one for sale) This system has huge 3.5 inch tips that go all the way back to the bend where it connects to the highly polished muffler. It looks absolutely badass from the side/back. The tubing is very high quality fully stainless with no creases in the metal and beautiful workmanship.
Purchased used BBK Ceramic headers emissions ready from guy on ebay for $250.00 including the Y-pipe.
Got a 3 inch high flow stainless CAT from Summit for $60.00
Then bought a 3 inch Cutout for $25.00 installed before muffler.
This system gave me some serious HP gains and better gas milage! It sounds awesome and woke the car up significantly!
When I compared the stock system to the new one I felt like kicking the old stuff into the street. It is small rusted (non stainless) bent up tubing and very restrictive. Somthing weird I found was a cat directly under the drivers side exhaust manifold...
You were talking about $700.00 for a stainless system and you don't have to spend near that much. I have compared the magnaflow and it is up there with BORLA in quality and I think the sound is a hell of a lot better. Hooker/SLP/Edelbrock/Flowmaster aren't even in the same class because they are aluminized and the tips suck in comparison. The Muffler doesn't compare in looks at all. Shop around and you will get a sweet deal.
I hope this helps you make your decision because I went through it and came out with one of the best systems for the best damn price I have seen anywhere.
