Just installed my Pro 5.0

This thing is badass! It was easy to install too. Very worthwhile mod. Makes getting to third in a hurry alot easier... Now I just have to wait for my SLP CAI and LT4 KM to come in....

I agree. Very cool and effective mod.

I had it on my '95, with a Momo boot and ****. Picture here.

No rattling yet, and no I didn't use thread lock, so I'll see how it turns out... hopefully it doesn't come off in my hand....

Yea make sure to thred lock thos bolts, ALL of them. They vibrate out easily. It came apart on me on the highway ALSO the vibration and rattling is normal. I assume you used RTV, try some black gasket maker, that should muffle the sound alittle better.

Yeah i have one also and it is noisier then stock. But almost all aftermarket shifters are gonna be. I like it a lot also. Maybe i'll try some of that black gasket maker stuff.

You want to make it better?

Take a hacksaw and hack off just over a little more than an inch.

This makes a difference for the better.

Check out how short my stick is...I hacked the hell out of it! Some pics of my 5.0 are in my sig. I got rid of the 5.0 angled stick in favor of a straight stick.
