Somebody is yanking your crank. All 93-97 LT1 F-Bodys are 350ci, with specific LT1 aluminum heads. The Vortec is a cast iron truck head, and was never used on the LT1. Because the LT1 has "reverse flow" cooling, and unique water passages between the block and heads, and a dry manifold, the Gen 1 SBC parts and the LT1 heads and intake (Gen 2) are not interchangeable.

Tuned port "TPI" was used to describe the L98 engine used in the 3rd Gen F-Bodys. The LT1 uses a plenum manifold, very short runners, and a full sequential fuel injection setup (94-97 only, 93 is batch fire).

There is virtually no difference between a Corvette LT1 and an F-Body LT1, except the Corvettes got a 4-bolt main block and the F-Bodys got 2-bolt mains. Identical blocks other than the mains.
