Just got back from the track (was i wrong lol)

Here it is, i made 3 runs, the second one i didn't bother posting (helps if you don't miss a gear), I am soooo happy, i don't know what i did last week , but i'll bet i let off before the end (it was at night & its a new track to me), i'm finding the sweet spot with the street tires & closeing in on a 2.0 60ft, know doubt i would have gone a 13.6 if i had that 2.0, so you guys were right Don't pay attention to the dates, earlier that day the computer malfunctioned & they didn't re-set the dates.

The second ticket was a 2.17 60ft & 9.0 in the 1/8

For your mods, you should be running faster. On street 235/55/16 tires, with only CAI and exhaust I was running consistent 8.7s in the 1/8 @ 80mph with 1.99 60's. How is the car running?

For what mods? No mods were posted? Besides a 1.99 60' is far better off than a 2.3 or even a 2.1. Guaranteed if he were to run the same 1.99 60' he'd be in the 8.7 neighborhood. I am assuming it's a manual as well since he notes he missed a gear...

Yes, those are the mods that he posted, i had them on another thread, it is a 6sp., my altitude here is 1500 ft., i was trying to find out the DA, for those times i felt i was doing pretty damn good, like was said, i did that on a 2.17 60ft., knock that down to a 1.97, i would have knocked off another .3/.4 tenths, that would have gotten me a 8.6/8.7 in the 1/8 & 13.3/13.4 in the 1/4, Automatics can normally run quicker then sticks (they are more consistant), i wasn't power shifting & i shifted at only 55-5600, the car just kept getting faster & faster as the day went on, so did others around me.

Now from you being in the Carolina's, i'll bet anything your at or near sea level, i'm originaly from the sunshine state myself, & down there you can run some good ET & MPH, back east is the place to be if you want to run fairly quick.
