just got back from the dyno!!

i bought the car last saturday (1995 z28, 129,000 miles, 6 speed), and wanted a baseline dyno to go on, well after seeing what it did, i was impressed, and i dont think the car is stock, it has intake, and a flowmaster, but the guy at the dyno said its about 10 horses short of an ls1 SS, and about 10 ft/lbs. more than an ls1 SS..so let me know what u guys think, is this normal for intake and exhaust mods?
-Peak RWHP 254.1 @5200rpm
-Peak RWTQ 300.3 @2350 rpm
...this torque stayed right at 300 ft./lbs. untill 4000rpm, and didnt go below 250 till 5200rpm ...what do u guys think?

I don't know what that guy was talking about, you arent anything near an LS1. No stock LT1 is. I think the dyno guy was going by published numbers and not true numbers. Most LS1's stock pull around 310-320 HP and 330 torque at the wheels. And your car is pretty much stock with those numbers and what it has for mods so let the modding begin!

My A4 was 230 RWHp and 252 RWTQ bone stock with 100,000 miles. A freind of mine has a 96 Z and when it didnt have nothing more than a Flowmaster cat back he went 252 RWHP and 281 RWTQ. You RWHP look inline, but your RWTQ is a little high. But who cares, if that is what you got, then its that much less work to gain more.

I think the dyno operator is missing some brain cells, or is confusing LS1s with LT1 SS cars, because 295+ RWHP is a good bit more than your putting out. Jason Debler just posted his 2002 LS1 SS numbers, 313 RWHP.

Your probably making around 290 crank HP.
