Well brought the car up too CAM today for my tune on the 383. I didn't have money for the plugs wires I need so I just brought it up as is with the miss and all. Strapped it down and made 432 hp and 416 tq. Might as well make the changes to the HP list. Next up is Track times. I'll get the Dyno sheet up here sometime in the next day or two. Big Ups to AI and CAM for all the hard work.

 

Nice numbers. How do you like those heads. I'm in the process of putting together a very similar setup, I'll be getting the heads on order next week and sending them an extra intake.

 

Nice numbers. My 383 just made 430/417 last weekend. Its nice to see some 383s putting down some numbers.

 

Eric, do you plan to return to CAM with new plug wires in hand and the exhaust upgrade Jeff/Phil suggested prior to your track visit to evaluate performance?

I'm thinking about CAM too, even though it's a 600 mile one way drive. Anybody know if he can do 93's, (have to have the capability to write to a chip). I figure AI works with him so he should be pretty familiar with their set ups.

I'm thinking of letting the rings seat with a baseline tune and a few hundred miles, then scheduling a weekend up there. Might even be fun.

 

Either that or you can bring it to charlotte, about the same distance..

 

Was that through the full exhaust? Which one?

Those are some good numbers that will only get better as you sort out the problems.

Yeah I plan to go back to CAM when I have the wires. The exhaust is already good did it right after I got the carback from Getting the Heads and Cam done. Hooker Catback. I actually made 432 through the cutout and 428 or so through the catback. Must be a good catback

 

Ya, those catbacks are one of the best flowing out there...

#'s are pretty good..I wish Jeff was closer(800 miles one way), otherwise Id go to him, no doubt...

 

have you got the dyno graph up yet? I would be interested to compare it with mine since we put down basically the same numbers, but I am running LT1 castings, and unported intake.
