Yeah, I hate pushing the button every time I start the car to turn it off, and I don't want to spend $40 for a thing to change it, so I did my own.
I turned it from a push button to a toggle switch. That way when you leave the car, then start it again, it will be the same (on/off) that you left it.

A while back I bought an extra defogger, fog light, and tranny performance buttons from eBay, and I used the fog light switch for this.
It took some jimmy riggin, and some creative wireing, to get all the lights to turn on, but it is great, and looks stock too.
