Just finished a clutch: horrible noise
Well I just finished getting my Mcleod Street Twin in my TA. I fired up the car and was greeted by the absolute worst sound ever from a car. The clutch pedal pulsed (or buzzed) up and down very quickly. The only thing I can think of is that I don't have the shift fork (around the throwout bearing) in all the way. I think that the fork is contacting the 6 bolts on the back of the flywheel.
How much play is there supposed to be when the fork is in all the way? Anyone with a McLeod ST give me some feed back?
I have had suggested by one friend that the rod on the adjustable master cyl needs to be shortened.
??????????
