Just buttoned up quite a few mods on my Formula.. HUGE DIFFERENCE!
As the title reads. 95 Formula A4 factory stock internal 350 LT1.
Mods installed and buttoned up over 3 years between being a broke just out of college dude and now. Analysis below.
1. Moroso CAI
2. Pacesetter Longtubes
3. Performabuilt stage 2 and 3000RPM 9.5" stall
4. Trans Cooler
5. 3:42 Motive Gears in rebuilt 10 bolt
6. DMS springs
7. KYB Shocks
8. BMR Lowe Control Arms
9. Subframe Connectors
10. Strut Bar
11. MadZ28 Tune
12. !CAT
13. Pacesetter offroad Y
14. Hooker Catback
15. LS1 Front Brakes
16. Slotted powerstop rotors
17. 18x10.5" C6 Z06 Chrome rears (295/35/18 Potenza RE's)
18. 18x8 C6 Z06 Chrome fronts with 245/40/18
WOW what a HUGE difference. The car runs like a bat outta hell now compared to before. LOTS of low end torque and picked up quite a bit from a roll too. Will boil off the rear tires through first and into second. Car feels really strong. I haven't dynoed yet but I would expect quite an increase in power. LOVE the Performabuilt trans! Feel like I can finally beat on her and not worry about the transmission. Handling and braking has dramatically improved and there are FAR less creaks and rattles while driving the car. The exhaust sounds amazing if a tad on the loud side. Overall the car is still a work in progress and will need another 2-3k approx in cosmetics/interior but i'm happy with the mods and the car is a blast to drive! Just thought i'd share..

I noticed a difference for sure. Lots more stopping power than the single piston LT1 calipers. Also more braking surface with the bigger rotors. Lastly, the powerslot slotted rotors I have on it are zinc coated so the don't rust and they give the brakes an aggressive look behind the red powdercoated calipers. Love this mod and would def recommend!

Where did you get the LS1 conversion and do you remember what you paid for it ??
really love the look of the cross drilled sloted rottors with the painted calipers
thanks for the Intel

I bought them off of the for sale section on this site. Guy shipped them to me for 250$ The whole conversion with the powerslot rotors. I thought is was a hell of a deal.

Next project performance wise is to figure out why this car feels like a pig on the hwy.. Accelerates so hard from a stop and carries momentum well but roll on power on the highway is not what i'd like it to be. Guess i'll be in contact with lloyd to fix that problem
I guess it's just the design of the heads and intake? My friends A4 LS1 TA pulls like a freight train on the highway. Feel like it will take a lot to get him from a roll. He's basically stock minus a lid and a muffler..
