Some LT headers, cutout or good catback exhaust. Roller rockers either 1.6, or 1.7s. A CAI kit, e-water pump, airfoil, underdrive pullies, 4:10 gears + drag radials. Probably will have to upgrade the clutch and maybe look into a tune. That should get you there, if not time to put a bigger cam in it.

Make it breathe and get it to hook up..that's all you have to do...LOL. A CAI will help on the intake side, headers and a nice catback on the exhaust side. 1.6 ratio roller rockers and a tune. On the traction side, add better LCA's, LCA relocation brackets. Drag radials will help you hook up.

No disrespect intended for the previous poster but stay away from 1.7 roller rockers...too many geometry issues and don't bother with underdrive pulleys...since the waterpump is driven off the cam there isn't much to gain slowing down the alternator and power steering pump.

CAI, longtube headers, catback or true duals, a tune, and some Mickey Thompson's should get you in the 12's or pretty damn close.

I ran 13.56 at 105 with just intake/exhaust/clutch. Street tires & stock gears at a track with the WORST prep ever.

I bet the track I run at has worse prep, anyways, with mods in sig, car has a best of 13.5 @ 106.4 on a 2.21 60' and spinning a third of the way through 2nd, get to try out a friends drag radials tomorrow, hopefully.

Lt Headers, a CAI, and 4.10's with some sort of sticky tire should do it.

With that much to spend I would contact Lloyd Elliott or AI and get a head & cam package, new head gaskets, 1.6 rrs, LT headers and 4.10's and that should get you in the high 11s - low 12s.

$2500 isn't going to get you ported heads, cam, supporting valvetrain, Lt headers and 410's Used parts maybe, and what about labor? Not trying to sound like a **** but it isn't doable with new parts.

Whats wrong with used parts? The only brand new parts on my car are the valve springs and opti. I have gears, LS1 ram air conversion, cam, rockers, fuel pump, air foil, ported stock tb,LT's, and tons of suspension parts that are all used. BTW I have less than a grand invested for all of that. I'm running mid 12's. Just something to think about.

Nothing is wrong with used parts, just saying he will be hard pressed to do a H&C package + boltons for $2500.
