JetHot LTs knocking against brake line shield???
I've had JetHot LTs since they came out, and I have just noticed that they are rubbing against the brake line heat shield on the drivers side. The headers rest about 1/4 inch from the shield while idleing, and even revving to a couple thousand RPM, however, it does touch regularly, and has even started grinding through the shield. Does anybody else's do that? How can I fix it? Would new engine mounts fix it?
The main reason I ask is because right around 4500 RPM, while driving, especially in 3rd gear, while passing 95-105 MPH, my computer says I have knock, and according to FreeScan, the ECM retards up to 6 degrees or whatever. It started when I installed the Jet Hot's.
The retarding (obviously) causes the engine and my momentum to slow down, therefore hurting my power and times. I think that this knocking might be the cause of the ECM thinkin that the engine is knocking. I even installed an LT4 KM, and it still does it.
Do you think that could cause my knock retarding?
Here are some pics I took of the area:

It's not a good pic but I have alot more room than you do. I would first take a look at you motor mounts and see if they still look good. The driverside maybe worn out. In my pic you can see a black cable lying between the 1# primary and the shield. I would say is a good inch or so space between them. If it's not the motor mounts then Jet Hot must of changed the bend of this tube on later versions. I just got mine about 2 months ago.
