Jet stage 2,do it or not??

I got stupified and bought a Jet stage 2 module without researching it first.
There are a lot of negative feelings on this board about Jet chips and so forth.
I am waiting to recieve the kit to jack into my 95Z ECM but after reading some posts it sounds like all it will do for me is change my timing 2 degrees. Jet says it will do more but at this point I am almost paranoid to plug it in to my pride and joy. Anybody care to share any experiences with this type of mod will be very helpfull. See you at Maple Grove this summer!!

I have one. It wont hurt anything. The previous owner ran it with a stock thermostat for a while too. My automatic shifts at 6,000 rpm, and the shifts are very firm in performance mode. It should increase your rev limiter, change your timing, and maybe adjust your fuel. I'm not entirely sure. I didnt buy mine. You should have a 160 degree thermostat though.

Never tried it.

I did my research first.

Your link to real tuning

Use an AKM Cable and get unlimited tuning, with no downtime.

The only thing better is a dyno tune, so for the price it can't be beat.

Yeah i meant to add it's definately not worth it. Don't waste your money. I was just saying it wouldnt hurt. Definately go witha tune from Ion or Brian.
