Jet-hots are pissing me off.

HI, i won't get into all my problems with my jet-hots, except one.

The driver side air valve of the header won't hook-up to the factory pipe. I got the adapter fitting, it's just the factory L-shape pipe is too long and goes past the point where that little rubber elbow inserts into. i left it out for now and got a temporary washing machine pipe for now. But it won't last. I need the passenger side rubber hose, to make it work on the driver side.
How do you guys hook this up?

Sorry for my bad mechanical lingo.

I got a 97 trans am.

Just go to an auto parts store and get a piece of hose. It's not special hose or anything. I did it for the one on the passenger side of my headers.

I went to every parts store in the city and they all said it's a special hose and that they couldn't recommend anything that could be used in its place that wouldn't kink. So I had to use a washing machine house from a home hardware store. I called GM and they have to order the passenger side hose from GM in boston, i won't see it for one week and its $65 canadian.

I can't be the only guy with this problem, they must all be this way on 96-97 styles.

You can get that if you want, but I've been using regular rubber hose that comes on the big spools from an auto parts store for like 2 1/2 years now. It has a bit of a kink in it but not enough to worry me. It's up to you.

I used some cheap hose too. All it's doing is feeding the air, it doesn't have to be anything special.
