Jet Hot vs Hooker LT headers

Anyone tried their version of the Hooker LT's? Here are the advantages I've heard from JetHot.
1) JetHot's primaries are 16 guage steel vs Hooker's 18.
2) JetHot has a 3/8" coll flg vs Hooker's 5/16".
3) JetHot come with both EGR and 02 bungs already welded on vs Hooker is additional to have added prior JetHot coating.
4) JetHot is $567.00 delivered to my door vs Hookers $650.00 which does not include the EGR or 02 bungs.

Prices & tech were from Matt @JetHot

I did hear JetHot's header had a Kmember fit problem for the LS1 which JetHot resolved a good while back. My curiousity with that is I thought the Kmembers were the same for the LT1 and LS1, shrugs not sure though.

I've reserached several brands, SLP (wouldn't waste my $$), FLP (don't care for the 2-1/2" ypipe and am not running cats anyway so it's a waste of $$) and the rest on the market don't seem to measure up to the Hooker or JetHot LT's.

thanks for any feedback.

The best thing about the JHLT's, they have better ground clearance! That is a big advantage!
I'll do headers in the future, and I'm definiately going w/ the Jet Hot's

I got JEt-Hot coated headers ship to my door for $497. It had O2 bungs welded in already and I cut outhte EGR system on my car so I ordered the headers WITHOUT EGR hookup.

They look great, I am happy. never bothered with HOOKER LT's.

I've had both, currently have the Jet-hots. There are no differences then what you already know. Go with the Jet-hots their cheaper.

Well the Jet Hot LT have better ground clearance because they don't have the flange like the Hooker's do....or at least the LS1's don't I haven't seen the LT1's yet but i'm sure they are the same......They have about an 1 inch clearance difference which doesn't sound like a lot but that is a lot when you are trying to clear something....get the Jet Hot LT's.....I wish I had a set. Oh well I just can't drive over speed bumps or anything for that matter with my Hooker LT's.

Unless there was a design change they still have the same clearance as the Hookers. That comes direct from Chris at JetHot. As far as the LS1 version goes...WHO CARES!

Not sure how the ground clearance on the Hookers are, but my Jet Hots are near stock, even with a custom y-pipe and cat! Pics are in my sig. The lowest part is actually before the flange, where the tubes combine into one.

I dyno'd, but didn't do really great:
250 hp, 295 tq.
I'm running really rich (I think) and I have bad false knock at 4500 RPM (I hope)

went to advance b/c my prior 160 stant thermostat got stuck wide open so when I went back, they only had 180. I didn't feel like ordering one so I just put a 180 in and haven't had any problems. The 160 lasted for about 4-5 months and the 180 is on 5-6 months now.

THere is no ground clearance with the jet hots either. You are lucky because 1) my tranny cross member is in the way and 2nd... my hooker's per se are way lower than yours...

Well my friend just put on his Jet Hot LT's on his LS1 and It does NOT have the three bolt flange on it....it has a clip or something that holds them together and it doesn't leak either....With his car lower than mine...he still has more clearance than my Hooker LT's....pulling onto a mobiledyno backwards....my flanges hit the dyno ramps...his drove right on up....
