I recall reading a while back, that you could delete the cats from the FLP package, cutting the cost by $300.

I have FLP headers on my 96 Impala and hate them with a passion. Plugs are a nightmare to change they started rusting within 6 weeks and if you run a Autolite 106 plug you will burn atleast #5 and #6 plug wire due to the Autolites are a 1/4 inch longer the the NGK's and AC Delco's. FLP's give no room for clearance at all.

No LT will pass a visual state inspection, period. They all move the cat(or cats) from the stock location, so that's an automatic fail right there. Now measuring actual emissions is a different story, it MAY pass with cats on there, but it depends more on cam choice and programming at that point. Also, Jet Hot's and Hooker's come without AIR and EGR provisions. So technically that's another fail.

Of course, all you need is a hookup, not that that's legal, but then again, in my case, my car is nowhere near emissions legal.
