a 1 3/4" t bar clamp from summit will work, i doubt any RTV could withstand the heat.....

mine doesnt leak at all with just the t bar clamp

only $6.95

RTV won't withstand the heat.

Ultra Copper RTV would withstand it, had that on my MACs, stayed there for awhile, good up to like 1200*, headers wont see near that.

Anyway, how does a clamp do anything since it is solid tube? I could see if it had a slit like most slip fits. Or did you cut a small slit in it?

They both do to help go around the steering linkage. Mine Hooker slip fit doesnt leak at all, I did put a dab of super copper, but then I had to take the headers back out to do something before I finished installing them and it made it a pain in the *** to take it out, so I cleaned it off with brake parts cleaner.

Re: Jet hot slip fit?

I'm putting my Jet Hots on right now, I couldn't get the slip fit in far enough so I touched it up with some 220 grit, now it seems way too damn loose. :livid:

Anyone have a pic of this clamp I need?!?
