jet hot longtube questions

They came in today and I was looking at the primary that slips on and just curious how you seal it, also I wont have an exhaust system for a while but I will be able to have a chop shop put some tubes on the ends of the collectors so the o2 sensors read correctly for very little $, how long should the pipe be like 6 or 8 inches, im planning on building the exhaust system off of them so tehy cant be too long just enought to make the o2 sensors read correctly, theres a good 6 " from the o2 plug to the end of the collector.. also I read about hot spots ruining the coating and I noticed where the AIR fittings were welded on there are sharp edges and bumps inside the primary wont those cause hot spots or atleast mess up the flow some or is it nothing to worry about?

Well, dont believe everyone that tells u that the slip-fit seals with no problem. Some dont have problems some do. Mines leaked since day one, ive tried RTV sealent, Exhaust clamps, nothing works, the damn exhaust leak tick is louder than my longtubes with open borla exhaust. Now I finally broke down and am getting the slip fit welded. I even considered going to shorty headers its been such a headache. Guess im just jealous that it wasnt as easy for me as it was for some people, goodluck though..

I got mine in and beat the pi** out of it with a hammer to get it in. Have not heard it leaking yet.
You might try one of those T bolt clamp things that some of the guys on here talk about.
I would be real leary of welding that pipe up. Might need to take those headers out someday.
