Jet-hot/Hooker LT guys inside please

The #1 primary on the drivers side, when do you put that pipe in? once you have the rest of the header bolted up or before? Should I have left the steering knuckle apart while I do this?

I would do it after you have the rest of the header bolted up. Itll make it a little easier to line up...

I tried that but when I would rotate it into place it was messing up the gaskets.

I bolted the header on first then put the slip tube on.
