Jet Hot Cleaning?????
Jet Hot Cleaning?????
Hey Guys,
I want to clean my Jet Hot coated Hooker shorties. They have a very dull finish after driving all the wet roads. I thought someone had said they clean right up with Windex but that didnt do a thing? I have had no problems with mine unlike some others and I just wanted to make sure I dont mess up the coating. I was thinking some kind of polish or using my dremel? What do you guys do?
Shawn

Quoting from Jet Hot's instruction sheet:
Most stains on JET-HOT high luster silver finish can be removed with very hot water or non-abrasive aluminum polish (e.g., Wenol, Wax Shop, Mothers, Never Dyull). Wash your headers once a year with soap and hot water, and polish them occasionally.
HTH!
