Jet Hot 2000

I called jet hot the other day to ask a few questions before I order the new headers. He said It was only $50 to upgrade to the better coating. I was thinking about getting black because my car is red and black. Just wondering what you guys thought or if any of you have gotten there 2000 coating. Is it worth the extra 50 bucks???

If you want black, I guess you might as well get the 2000. I don't know for a fact, but the shiney ones are probably good to around 1200 deg. which is probably fine as long as you aren't using a power adder which will run a lot hotter and would ruin the shiny coating anyway.

Bottom line, don't worry a bout $50.00 when it comes to the important things. Headers are not something you want to have to screw with once you install them.JMHO
