jet chips suck
jet chips suck
I found a jet chip in the computer of a 93 formula that was wrecked that my friend has and decided I would give it a try in my car. It ran good for like a few days then the car started running weird, it was stuttering and missing and not running right, but the cooling fans were on all the time(ac was not on). So I pulled the chip and put it back in thinking that it would reset itself and it did, for like another week. I was driving home and all the sudden my speedometer went to zero and the car started missing. I got to my driveway and put it in park, then it started idling at 1500 rpm. I shut it off and then the car would not start, and I could not hear my fuel pump come on when I turned on the key. I thought my fuel pump had died, but then I pulled the chip out and just put the prom in and it cranked right up. Next I swapped the computer out since I have a delphi computer I thought that putting a original computer in might fix the problem. I did that tuesday and I just pulled the chip out again because it was becoming hard to start and it wasnt running right. Anyone have any thoughts?
well being as it is just a standard tune for all 93 a4 cars I was expecting it to work properly. Just frustrated thats all. When the car runs, it runs awesome but then it just gets worse. I am confused with the thing.

He got the chip from me, and before you go opening your mouth he knows about the car that was wreck and i had the car running. we also put the computer from that car into his car and had the same problem, so unless you can be helpfull in this matter WHY POST AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you remove the chip and put the stock one back in and it still acts the same then its not the chip.
93s don't have a memory. Once you turn off the car the errors are erased.
Your problem is something else.
