how long did it take you all to get your parts in? i ordered o2's from him a week ago and they are not in yet. he told me if i sent in a check that he would have to keep the parts for 10 days then ship them out. if i send in a money order then they will ship out that day. its only been a week so i am not worried but just wondering how long it takes. thanks

For you peeps that don't know, when you walk in to a dealer parts dept, you pay list price (unless you know someone that will cut you a deal). If you have a shop or business, you get the wholesale price which is nearly half of list in a lot of cases.
Jason and Dal sell for wholesale plus whatever their dealership tacks on to do business.

When you take your car to some shop to get it fixed, if they need factory parts, they go to the dealer and buy them at the wholesale price. When you pick up your car and pay up, your ticket has the LIST price of the part. So the shop makes money on the part without doing anything. Then, of course, they charge you labor to install which is usually equal or more than the part costs.

Makes you want to open a shop doesn't it?
Your post makes it seems like the shops are ripping people off. They aren't, and the fact that most shop owners aren't wealthy is as good a proof of that as any. The economics of running a performance shop are fairly complicated, but just start making a list of what the expenses are before you jump to any conclusions.

That was not my intent. I was merely telling the possibly uninformed how it is (and always has been). A good and trustworthy shop is very valuable when you need one.
The economics of self repair was the real point I was making.

Understood, and I concur.

I get stuff in usually 3-5 days... [Fla to NJ]
You more or less answered your own question tho?
ADD 10 days[plus 2-3 for it to get TO him] for a check, and for a PMO add the 2-3 days it takes to get to him..
Which did you use?

I bought a 1997 Camaro front bumper cover from Jason a little over a year ago. The local dealer wanted $410 + tax. I got it from Jason a little over $300 shipped. He can save you a lot of money.
