It's like riding a bull

Not Really but close.

I recently pulled off my intake manifold ( yes it was leaking ) and while i had it off i swapped out the EGR and IAC valve. I also added an LT4 knock module. Now that my car's back together I've got a horrible miss both at idle and throughout the driving range. The problem is that it's very sporatic. Sometimes I can drive 20 miles with no problems sometimes I can't even make it to the corner store. Whenever it happens i get a flashing SES light and a code P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire and every now and then I get a P0200 Injector Circuit Open. So my question is what did i break now? I've swapped the coils. The plug wires look fine accept for a surface burn on the #8. I've checked the plugs. And Ive tested the injector resistance as well as check the injector harnesses with a noid light. Could my new EGR have something to do with this? Any thoughts, suggestions, opinions would be appreciated before i go drop $300 on a new opti. Thanks

well that injector code wouldnt come on if it was your opti.im guessing you dont have a harness plugged in somewhere or maybe you cut a injector wire??
a bad injector will cause a miss, but the miss would happen all the time.something with the electrical system.

One more question.

I checked my code list and i noticed that there are only misfire codes for Cylinders 1 - 4 and a random code also. Is it possible that a miss in only one cylinder ( 5 - 8) would be recorded as a random misfire?

Re: It's like riding a bull

OK kinda lost here.

I backtracked all the injector harness wires into the main loom and found nothing. All harnesses are with the correct cylinders and very snug. I could even pull them and listen to the motor die down a little. Are there any other things i can check. I would really rather not replace the opti and lose $300 if it doesn't fix anything. Please help guys, anything i can check at all?

Same problem here. Both codes.

When we first start the car the SES flashes... it idles rough and is sluggish. After driving a bit and shutting it off we get a constant SES and the car drives fine. Then after driving a while the SES light dissappears.

After sitting a while it starts all over again. Ideas?
