Its finally alive again!!

In november my car spun a rod bearing, and i havnt drivin it since untill today with the new motor. after gas leaks, coolant leaks, and oil leaks, the car is finally running with the new motor...here it is...4 bolt main 355, ross forged pistons, eagle rods, xe236 cam, IDT ported heads....and man it sounds good out those long tubes...its great, I have a few questions though for those also running bigger cams...does it almost feel like its missing under a load at like 2k rpm?...i was on the highway in 6th at like 2k, and i gave it gas and it started acting like a miss...then ran fine...this thing is bad , i can wait to get it to the track...ah im happy.

Id guess that w/your cam, your not making too much power at 2K rpm. 6 gear should be for cruising only. dont accelerate in 6 gear unless your over 3500 rpms Id say. but it shouldnt feel like its missing, just be like a bog. its also poss. that your clutch is slipping. that would have that kind of symptom. sounds like a mean combo though. go get some perf. #s. track and dyno.

needs more fuel, big cams like that like lots of fuel down there to smooth it out, when running right (14.7 afr) they run like crap, adding timing helps a lot too, but I got my timing somewhat back down & added fuel, that made a night & day difference, I can acctually accelerate in 6th
