Its Alive!! Thanks to All!!

Hey guys,

It came alive around 5:20 p.m. just yesterday. We struggled to get it started until I found out that my wires on the left bank where all out of position. Man was I pissed, but I kept to myself since I knew my friend had done that side. He is a fellow bolt-on Lt1 owner and still screwed up. So re-wired them myself, and it came to life after about 6 tries later. I actually had to hold the gas pedal around 1,000rpm or it would die. I kept on the gas until it warmed up, let go, and it suddenly began to idle a little erratic.

So I shut her off, and called it a night. I will go back this thursday, and figure out the erratic idle I have, most likely a vacuum leak somewhere. It is still up in the stands, and I have not yet driven it, but it sounds means as hell. I started it with open headers.

Well all is well, and i will know if all this cussing, waiting , and a **** load of cash is worth it or not. I would like to thank everyone who insisted me in the many questions I have asked, i could not imagine it going smoother than it did.

THANKS TO ALL

well when i replaced my opti and went to start it for the 1st time, took a few cranks b4 it would fire and i also had to keep the pedal at 1k-1500rpms to keep it runnin or it'd die, i think the pcm had to relearn all its settings and such, been running great since well a lil bit of a rough idel but thats due to stock plugs and wires at 76k I'll be replacing them very soon when i install my headers, hehe. GOOD LUCK TO YOU THOUGH!
