Issues Under 50%+ Throttle

I just brought my car out of storage today and was driving it around a bit and noticed that under half + throttle that something in the engine bay makes what I would describe as a clicking or punctuated semi-squealing noise and there's less power than there should be. The car still accelerates but doesn't have the oomph that should be there. I replaced the plugs last summer. Any ideas?

check the plugs, I bet one is loose. Just hope you didn't strip it like many others. The clicking sound you hear is exhaust coming out past the plug.

If it was a plug issue, wouldn't it be present all the time instead of just under heavy load?

Oil pressure is good. It's hard to say if the noise is muffled or not, although it wouldn't be the first adjective that comes to mind in describing it. Haven't had time to get under the hood yet but in running errands today I haven't had the issue at all.. good power, no noises. I'm really confused now

well if it's intermittent then I'd rule out bearing problems (unless we're talking about warm/cold engines)
