Issue with LT1 stumble..

Hello guys,
I've been working on a C4 LT1 engine and been having an issue with the car..It seems that the car starts acting up like if it wants to shut off..I did scan the car and got a Right bank running rich which was an H65 code. I replaced that o2 and still has that stumble and code. After messing with a few things I did notice at night that 3 plug wires from that side were glowing the whole wires where flashing..could this be the cause of this issue? MSD send 4 replacement wires and will be installing them later tonight..

Sounds like bad wires/plugs. Try pulling those plugs when you swap the wires.

I'm hoping it's the same..I did change the plugs last week, I put new AC delco plats. I hope the issue is the wires.

What did you gap the plugs?

I used the stock setting as the gap..I belive it was .050..The car previously had NGK Iridium and had that same issue..The car also has an MSD distrib. it works fine then on a stop it gets a rough idle, like if the car wants to turn off. When I did the plug change to the delcos it ran fine for a day then bam..it started with that issue again. I don't know if the plug wires glowing would cause this problem or if an overheated ICM is the cause.

If you have arcs flashing (not just a barely visible blue "aura") the length of the wires, you are misfiring the plugs. One possible cause is excessive plug gaps - that's why I asked.

Well I installed the new MSD wires and the flashing has stoped..we didn't have a chance to drive the car around and see if it would stall out..I did get an MSD coil and a new ICM as well..I'll find out this weekend if this fixed the issue.
