Isky valve springs any good?
Isky valve springs any good?
I was just adding up my cam kit on thunderracing.com and noticed they have Isky springs that are good up to .550 lift and are only single coil (so then I wont need machine work done to my heads)
Are these Isky springs any good? I'll be using 230/236 cam, chromemoly pushrods, 1.6 rr's, etc....

How about some beehives? I'm giving these a shot for my heads & cam swap. A little pricier, but from all the research I've done, they look to be the real deal so far - especially with folks like Ray Bohacz giving them the thumbs up.
I'll probably go with the:
CRN-10308-1 Crane Aluminum LT1 Head Valve Spring Kit
fits stock head without machining, good to .600" lift, includes retainers, seats, and locks
For $179
Its worth a little extra money for the name brand I think....
